“But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31
Restless, hopeful discontent isn’t a bad thing.
It’s a sense that there is something more – something just around the corner that will restore what was broken, replace what was lost, and renew the things that are weary.
But waiting is tedious. You want so badly to DO something.
But it is in the waiting – not pausing, because pausing is a stoppage of movement.
Waiting is a patient persistence that keeps us focused on the WHY we are enduring.
Waiting believes there is MORE.
Waiting is proof of our trust in the One who does the renewing, strengthening, and supporting.
Waiting = Trust
